Bu çalışma, Macar oryantalist Vilmos Pröhle’nin Ufa bölgesine yaptığı inceleme gezisindeki deneyimlerine dayanarak, Başkurt Türkçesi ile ilgili tutmuş olduğu notlarını aktardığı “Baskir Nyelvtanulmányok” adlı makalesinin Macarcadan Türkçeye çevirisidir.[2] Pröhle’nin çalışması iki bölümden oluşmaktadır: I. Ses Bilgisi ve II. Biçim Bilgisi.  

This study is the translation from Hungarian into Turkish of the article named “Baskir Nyelvtanulmányok” written by Vilmos Pröhle, a Hungarian orientalist who conveyed that he made notes in relation to Bashkir language based on the experiences of his expedition in Ufa region. Pröhle’s work consists of two parts: I. Phonetics and II. Morphology.
