Bu çalışmada Türkiye’deki teknolojinin mevcut durumu teknoloji politikaları ve Avrupa Birliği’ne uyum süreci çerçevesinde bu gelişmelere yönelik politika önerileri geliştirilmiştir Çeşitli açılardan önemli avantajları olan ekonominin yapılanmasında teknolojinin kendi yapılarından kaynaklanan problemlerin ortadan kaldırılmasına yönelik dinamik yapıları destekleyici ve yeni ekonomik düzenin gereklerine uygun tutarlı ve ileri teknolojiyi destekleme politikalarının oluşturulmasının gereğini ortaya koymuştur Bu doğrultuda ülkelerin bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmişlik düzeyi ile ekonomik büyüme arasında ilişkilerin mevcudiyeti ülkelerin etkinliğinin sahip olunan bilim ve teknoloji temeline dayandığı savunulmaktadır Bu çalışmada genel çizgileri tanımlanan bu uzun soluklu değerlendirme de bilim ve teknolojinin ulusal kalkınmadaki belirleyici etkisi üzerine bazı incelemeler sunulmaktadır Anahtar Kelimeler: Teknoloji rekabet teknoloji politikaları bilim ve teknoloji
