The Nature of Reflective Thinking and Its Implications for In-Service Teacher Education

Bu çalışmada John Dewey’in hocası ve Amerikan pragmatizminin en meşhur sözcüsü olan Charles Sanders Peirce’e atıfta bulunarak yansıtmacı düşünmenin mahiyeti hakkında bilgi vermeye çalıştık. Yansıtmacı düşünmenin felsefi tarafını başlıca Dewey ve Habermas oluştururken, uygulama tarafında ise en çok Schön ve Kolb’un isimlerini görürüz. Ayrıca, bu çalışmada yansıtmacı düşünmenin vasıtalarını gösterek, yansıtmacı düşünmeden hizmet içi öğretmen eğitiminde nasıl yararlanılabileceğini göstermeye çalıştık.
