The aim of this study was to examine the effect of national income level (per capita) on demand of animal-originated food products in Turkey. The data from national income per capita, demography and consumption of majorlivestock products (cattle and buffalo meat, sheep and goat meat, poultry meat, and cow, sheep, goat and buffaloes milk)were evaluated for the period of 2003-2012 years. The consumption level of animal-originated food products wasdetermined by using situation analysis.
