Öz Abstract: In this research a questionnaire was applied on 176 ForestProducts (industries) coneerning their production activities, and 138 of themanswered the questionnaire. This questionnaire was administered to large-scalebusinesses in timber, furniture and paper industries, and to all in the chipboard,fiberboard and plywood industries.According to the results obtained from the research 56% of forest productsindustries make mass-production, 38% order-based production and 6% batchproduction. Of these industries, 23% supply their products to workshops, and 39% tothe buildings and 33% other. 5% residences. And raw meterial, labour and energy costsare most effective factors in determining the prices of products produced by forestproducts industries. While 31% of the businesses in tins sector have no problems atproduction stage, 68% of them report that they do have problems. The problem of lowquality raw materials takes the first place with 38% and it is followed by lack ofqualified labour with 31.5%.Key Words: Forest Products Industry. Production Activities. Research.Questionnaire. Özet: Bu araştırmada 176 Orman Ürünleri Endüstri İşletmesine üretimfaaliyetleri ile ilgili olarak anket çalışması yapılmış, bunların 138 'i ankete cevapvermiştir. Anket çalışması büyük ölçekli kereste işletmelerine, mobilya ve kağıtendüstrisi ile bütün yonga levha, lif levha ve kaplama endüstri işletmeierjneuygulanmıştır.Araştırma sonucuna göre orman ürünleri endüstri işletmelerinin %56 'sı seriüretim yaparken %38 "i siparişe göre üretim, %6 'sı her ikisini birlikteyapmaktadır. Bu endüstrilerin %23 'ü diğer işletmelerin hammadde ürünleriniüretirken %39 'u inşaat sektörüne, 33% "ü diğer sektörlere, 5% 'i konutlara üretimyapmaktadır. Orman ürünleri endüstrisinde üretilen ürünlerin fiyatlarınınbelirlenmesinde hammadde, işgücü ve enerji maliyetleri en etkili faktfiflerdir.Ankete katılan işletmelerin %31 'i bu sektörde üretim problemlerinin olmadığını.%69 'i ise üretimde problemlerinin olduğunu hclirtmişlçrdir.
