Mental fiiller, algılarımızı, duygularımızı, idraklerimizi ifadeeden fiillerdir. Zihinle ilgili fiillerdir. Mental fiiller, algılama, idrak veduygu fiilleri olmak üzere üç türe ayrılır. Bu çalışmada, mental fiillerin bir grubu olan idrak fiilleri (kognitif fiilleri) incelenmiştir. Bir süreç ve sonuç içeren, zihinsel işlem olarak ifade edilen idrak, anlamlama ve anlamlandırma çabasıdır. Düşünmek, karar vermek, anlamak,bilmek, istemek gibi kavramlar idrak sürecinde değerlendirilen kavramlardır. İdrak fiilleri, bilgiye dayalı fiiller olarak da değerlendirilir.Bu çalışmanın amacı, Çağatay Türkçesi dönemi eseri olan Lisânü’tTayr’daki tespit edilen fiilleri, idrak fiilleri çerçevesinde değerlendirmeye çalışmak ve fiilleri etimolojik açıdan incelemektir.Çalışmada, Çağatay Türkçesi dönemine ait Lisânü’t- Tayr adlıeser taranmıştır. Lisânü’t- Tayr’da kırk sekiz (48) idrak fiili tespitedilmiştir. İsim + yardımcı eylemle oluşan 37, kök hâlinde 6, yapımeki almış 1, deyimleşmiş 2, 1 kurallı birleşik fiil tespit edilmiştir.İdrak fiillerinden en çok sayıda kullanılanlar; Niyet, istek,heves, tasarlama, arzu etme: 12, Bilme ve tanıma: 6, Düşünme: 6, Karar verme, anlaşma: 4.İdrak fiillerinden en az sayıda kullanılanlar: Açıklama, anlatma; Anlama; Hayal etme: 2’şer, Akıl- akılsızlık; Dikkat-ehemmiyet,Öğrenme, Öğüt verme- öğüt alma: 3’er; Öğretme ve hatırlama: 1’ertane kullanılmıştır.

Mental verbs are the verbs that express our perceptions, feelings and cognitives. These verbs are verbs related to the mind. Mental verbs are divided into three types as perception, cognition and emotion verbs. In this study, verbal verbs (cognitive verbs) which are a group of mental verbs are examined. As a mental process which includes a process and a result, cognition is an attempt to signify and to comprehend. Concepts such as thinking, deciding, understanding, knowing, wanting are concepts that are evaluated in the process of cognitive. The verbs of comprehension are also considered as information-based verbs. The aim of this study is to try to evaluate the verbs identified in the Lisânü’t- Tayr which is the work of Chagatai Turkish period, within the framework of cognitive verbs from mental verbs and to examine the verbs from the etymological perspective. In this study, Lisânü’t- Tayr, which belongs to the period of Chagatai Turkish, was scanned. A total of forty-eight (forty eight) cognitive verbs were determined in the Lisanü’t- Tayr. The verb formed by thirty seven noun + auxiliary actions, six verbs in the root state, one the verb with the production suffix, and the two formula meaning gained verbs regular combined verbs. Most of the verbs used in comprehension; Expressions of intent, desire, enthusiasm, design, desire: twelve, Expressing knowledge and understanding: six, Expressing thinking: six, Decision-making, Expression of agreement: four. The least number of used verbs: Explanation, expressing narratives; verbs who express understanding; verbs who express imagination: two, verbs who express reason-wit; verbs expressing attention, learning expresses, verbs expressing give advice - take advice: three; teaching and remembering: one used.
