Advences in multiplex and rapid detection methods in molecular microbiology
An ideal diagnostic test is the ultimate goal of nearly all medical diagnostic laboratories. Significant progress has been made to realize it rapidly, economically and reliably. Tests, faster then today, particularly in the diagnosis of infectious diseases will render the diagnosis of a large number of microorganisms in a single session with new instruments which many are under development. In this meeting, these new technologies have been discussed with the contribution of the participants with significant know-how.
