Yenidoğanda antenatal olarak tanısı konmuş over kistinin postnatal yönetimi

Neonatal overlerde küçük boyutlarda kist saptanması sık ve normal bir bulgudur. 2 cm’den büyük ise patolojik olarak kabul edilir. Postnatal takipte kist boyutlarında gerileme gözlenmemesi durumunda cerrahi işlem önerilmektedir. Bu yazıda, antenatal tanı almış over kistli bir yenidoğan sunularak neonatal over kistlerde tanı, takip ve tedavinin tartışılması amaçlanmıştır.

Postnatal management of antenatal diagnoised ovarian cyst in a newborn

Small sized ovarian cysts in neonatal ovary is a common and normal finding. If it is bigger than 2 cm, it is accepted as pathologic. If any regression in size of the ovarian cyst is not observed on follow-up, surgical intervention is suggested. Herein, a newborn who was born with antenatally diagnosed ovarian cyst is presented and it is aimed to discuss the diagnosis, follow-up and management of neonatal ovarian cysts.
