HİV ile enfekte hasta için anestezik yaklaşım

Antiretroviral tedavinin yaygınlaşmasıyla insan immün yetmezlik virüs (HİV) infeksiyonu ve kazanılmı immün yetmezlik sendromu (AIDS) mortalitesi azalmıştır. Bu hastaların yaklaşık %25ine hayatlarının herhangi bir döneminde cerrahi bir işlem gerekebilir. Anesteziyologlar bu hastaların anestezi yönetiminde; hastalığın evresini, hangi organ sistemlerini etkilediğini, kullanmakta olduğu antiretroviral ilaçları ve bu ilaçlarla anestezik ilaçların etkileşimlerini bilmelidirler. Ayrıca sağlık çalışanları ve diğer hastaları da insan immün yetmezlik virüsü ile enfekte olmaktan korumalıdırlar. Bu makalede solunum sistemine ait yakınmaları olan AIDSli hastanın anestezi yönetimini literatür bilgileri eşliğinde tartışmayı amaçladık.

Anaesthetıc consıderatıons for the HIV-ınfected patıent

Mortality of human immunodeficiency virus infection (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) have decreased with the spread of antiretroviral therapy. %25 of these patients may need a surgical operation during their lifetime. When managing these patients an anaesthesiologist must pay attention to the stage of disease, affected organ systems, antiretroviral medications, and possible drug interactions of antiretroviral drugs with anaesthetic drugs. Additionally they must take care protection of medical personnel and other patients from contamination. In this case report we have aimed at discussing anaesthetic management of an AIDS patient with respiratory system problems.
