Araştırmanın etik izni İstanbul Esenyurt Üniversitesi Etik Kurulu’nun 18.04.2022 tarihli ve 2022/04-4 no’lu kararıyla alınmıştır.

A Study on The Determination of The Relationships Between Nurses' Telemedicine Knowledge and Telemedicine Willingness

The aim of this research is to bring the relationship between the level of knowledge about telemedicine, which is one of the important elements of the health system, and the willingness to telemedicine, which is increasing day by day, to the scientific literature. The population of the research consists of nurses who provide health services in public health institutions in Istanbul. The survey method, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was preferred in the study (Ethics Committee Report: It was obtained from the Non-Interventional Ethics Committee of Istanbul Esenyurt University with the decision dated 18.04.2022 and numbered 2022/04-4). Questionnaires were collected both online and face-to-face. The number of nurses included in the research is 346. Reliability analysis was applied to the variables. The reliability coefficient of telemedicine knowledge was calculated as 0.914, and the reliability coefficient of the telemedicine willingness variable was calculated as 0.883. The general reliability coefficient of the scale was found to be 0.908. After it was determined that it was reliable, the research data were analyzed according to the demographic findings. The demographic findings of the study were also analyzed by dividing them into sub-variables. Path analysis was applied to determine confirmatory factor analysis in the research. After the analysis, it was determined that the fit values of the model used in the research were good. Correlation analysis was applied to determine the relationship between Telemedicine Knowledge and Telemedicine Willingness, which are the two variables of the research. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there was a statistical relationship between both variables and the degree of the relationship was 0.608.
