Psikotik belirtilerle komplike olmuş bir Behçet hastalığı olgusu

Behçet hastalığı, ender görülen, kronik, vasküler-enflamatuar ve nedeni bilinmeyen bir hastalıktır. Klinik belirtileri temel olarak oral aftları, genital ülserleri ve göz enflamasyonunu kapsamakla birlikte, çeşitli organlara ait bulgular olabilir. Değişik çalışmalarda Behçet hastalığında psikiyatrik belirtilerin görülme sıklığı %8-50 arasında bildiril-mektedir. Literatürde, Behçet hastalığının psikotik belirtilerle beraberliğine ilişkin çok fazla yayın yoktur. Bu yazıda, psikotik belirtilerle komplike olmuş bir Behçet hastalığı olgusu sunulmuştur.

A case of Behcet’s disease complicated with psychotic symptoms

Behcet’s disease is an uncommon, chronic, vascular-inflammatory disease with an unknown origin. Clinical symptoms essentially consist of oral ulcers, genital ulcers and eye inflammation. Because of the inflammation of blood vessels there can be various symptoms related to different organs. The frequency of psychiatric symptoms in Behcet’s disease is reported as %8-50 in medical literature, although there hasn’t been too much report about the comorbidity of psychotic symptoms with Behcet’s disease. Therefore, we wanted to present a case of Behcet’s disease complicated with psychotic symptoms.
