Bir ergenin intihar girişimi

Günümüzde, intihar girişimlerinin önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunu haline geldiği kabul edilebilir. İntihar girişim-leri bazı ruhsal hastalıklar ve sosyodemografik özellikler ile nedensel ilişki içindedir. İntihar girişimleri, intihar sonucu ölüm açısından önemli bir risk etkeni olduğu için intihar girişimleri ile ilişkili klinik ve sosyodemografik özellikler, intihar girişimi türleri ve sonuçlarının çok iyi bilinmesi gerekmektedir. Özellikle ergenlerle ilgili inti-har girişimleri diğer yaş gruplarının intihar girişimlerinden farklı özellikler içermesi bakımından ayrı olarak ele alınmalı ve değerlendirilmelidir. Bu nedenle çalışmamızda egzojen insülin kullanımı ile intihar girişiminde bulunan ve hastanemizde yatarak tedavi gören, tanı karmaşası olan bir olgu sunulmuştur.

The attempting to suicide of an adolescent

It can be accepted that nowadays the act of attempting to suicide has become an important public health issue. Suicide attempts are related to certain mental illnesses and also sociodemographic features of people. For those attempts are an important risk factor with respect to the death resulted from suicide, it is necessary to know the clinical and sociodemographic features related to suicide attempts and the types of those as well as the results. Those attempts of adolescents, especially, must be dealt seperately and be evaluated differently since they have different features from other age groups. Consequently, in our study an inpatients who has attempted to commit suicide by taking exegone insuline is presented.
