Narda meyve kabuğu ve dane su içeriğinin meyve çatlaması üzerine etkisi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, meyve kabuğu ve dane su içeriğinin narda (Punica granatum L.) meyve çatlaması üzerine etkilerinin incelenmesidir. Deneme 2001–2002 yılları arasında 2 yıl süreyle Çukurova Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümüne ait arazi ve laboratuvarlarda yürütülmüştür. Denemede, 5 yaşındaki İzmir 10, İzmir 15, İzmir 16, İzmir 23, İzmir 26, 33 N 16 Silifke aşısı ve 07 N 08 Hicaznar çeşitlerine ait ağaçlar kullanılmıştır. Deneme tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre her yinelemede bir ağaç olacak şekilde 4 yinelemeli olarak kurulmuştur. Hasatla birlikte her ağaçtan çatlamış ve çatlamamış 10’ar meyvenin örneklemesi tesadüfî olarak yapılmıştır. Tüm çeşitlerin çatlamış ve sağlam meyvelerinde dane ve meyve kabuğu su oranları etüvde kurutularak belirlenmiştir. Sonuçta, dane su içeriği açısından çatlamış ve sağlam meyveler arasında fark bulunmazken, çatlamış meyvelerin meyve kabuğu su içeriği, sağlam meyvelerden daha düşük olarak belirlenmiştir.

The effects of the water contents of fruit skin and aril on fruit cracking in pomegranate

The aim of this experiment was to determine the effects of the water contents of fruit skin and aril on the fruit cracking in pomegranate (Punica grantum L.). The experiment was carried out on İzmir 10, İzmir 15, İzmir 16, İzmir 23, İzmir 26, Silifke Aşısı and Hicaznar cvs. as 4 replicates at the pomegranate orchard of Horticultural Department of Çukurova University in 2001 and 2002 years. It was used 10 fruit sample per tree for analysis. The water contents of fruit skin and aril in cracked and normal pomegranate fruits belonging to all cultivars have been examined. Finally, it has been determined that there was no statistically difference on the water contents of aril between cracked and normal fruits. However, It was found that the cracked fruit skins have lower water content than those of normal fruits.
