Necrotizing enterocolitis of newborns

The article describes the incidence of necrotizing enterocolitis in newborns in the perinatal center №3 Turkestan. For three years in the perinatal center there were born 24 516 children. From 1599 (6.53%) were born preterm. During this period, 48 children were diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis. Among all patients with NEC 85.42% (41 children) were preterm infants and 14.58% (7 children) - born on time. Submitted differentiated approach to the treatment depending on the stage of the disease.
