Ekstraoral fistül: Bir olgu sunumu
Odontojenik fistüller, pulpa nekrozuna bağlı olarak gelişen patolojik oluşumlardır. Fistülün intraoral veya ekstraoral bölgeye açılması dişin bulunduğu bölgeye, enflamasyon tarafından kortikal kemikte oluşan perforasyonun lokalizasyonuna bağlıdır. Özellikle ekstraoral fistüller deri lezyonları, tüberküloz, osteomiyelit gibi birçok farklı oluşumla karıştırılmakta ve bunun sonucunda hastalara etkisiz tedaviler uygulanabilmektedir. Bu olgu sunumu, alt çene kesici dişlerden kaynak aldığı tespit edilen ve çene ucu bölgesinden drene olan 2 adet ekstraoral fistül vakasının kök kanal tedavisi uygulamasının ardından 1 senelik takiplerini içermektedir.
Extraoral fistula: A case report
Odontogenic fistulas are pathological occurrences due to pulp necrosis. Intraoral or extraoral opening of the fistula depends on the localization of the perforation in the cortical bone by inflammation. In particular, extraoral fistulas are confused with many different types of skin lesions, such as tuberculosis and osteomyelitis, resulting in ineffective treatment of the disease. This case report includes 1 year follow-up after root canal treatment with 2 extraoral fistula cases, which were found to have been obtained from lower jaw incisor teeth and were drained from the jaw area.
