GENEL ÖZ YETERLİK VE ÇATIŞMA YÖNETİM TARZI İLİŞKİSİ: ÖZEL SEKTÖR ÇALIŞANLARI ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Bu araştırmada, özel şirket çalışanlarının genel öz yeterlik algıları ve çatışma yönetim tarzları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Veri toplama yönteminin anket olduğu çalışmanın örneklemini kolayda örnekleme yoluyla seçilen Ankara, İstanbul ve Zonguldak illerinde faaliyet gösteren özel sektör çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Bu anket çalışmasında Jerusalem ve Schwarzer’in Genel Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği ve Rahim’in Örgütsel Çatışma Envanteri 2 kullanılmıştır. 240 anketin değerlendirildiği çalışmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Anketin verileri SPSS istatistik programında analiz edilmiştir. Fark analizlerinde Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal-Wallis testleri uygulanarak değişkenler incelenmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların genel öz yeterlikleri ile bütünleştirme, zorlama ve uzlaşma tarzları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. 

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE GENERAL SELF-EFFICACY AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT STYLE: A RESEARCH ON PRIVATE SECTOR WORKERS

The study was conducted to investigate the relationship between general self-efficacy beliefs and conflict management styles. In this research, the participants of the study were private company employees. Private sector employees working in Ankara, Istanbul and Zonguldak provinces are selected as sample of the study and the data collection method is the questionnaire. Jerusalem and Schwarzer's "General Self Efficacy Scale" and Rahim's Organizational Conflict Inventory 2 has been used in the questionnaire. 240 questionnaires were evaluated, and the relational screening model was used in the study. Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were applied in the difference analyzes and the variables were examined. According to the analysis results, a statistically significant relationship was found between participant’s general self-efficacy and three conflict management styles which are integration, dominating and compromising.
