Pankreasta nadir görülen bir kitle: Müsinöz non-neoplastik kist

Pankreasın kistik tümörleri patolojik olarak geniş spek-trumda olup, neoplastik ve non-neoplastik olarak sınıf-landırılabilir. Biz 36 yaşında musinöz non-neoplastik kistli bir kadın hastayı sunacağız. Kronik karın ağrısı olan hastada radyolojik olarak karnın orta hattında yerleşim gösteren ancak orijini belli olmayan kist tespit edildi. Hastaya laparotomide distal pankreotektomi, kistektomi ve splenektomi uygulandı. Operasyon sonrası histolojisi benign musinöz non-neoplastik kist bulundu. Bu kistlerin kesin etiyolojisi hala tam olarak belli değildir.

A rare mass of pancreas: Mucinous nonneoplastic cyst

Cystic tumors of the pancreas consist of a diverse spectrum of pathological entities and they may be broadly classified into neoplastic and nonneoplastic cysts. We describe a case of mucinous nonneoplastic cyst in a 36-year-old woman. A cystic mass of uncertain origin was demonstrated radiologically with chronic abdominal pain. The patient underwent distal pancrea-tectomy, cystectomy and splenectomy for an indetermi-nate cystic neoplasm of the pancreas. Histology demonstrated a benign mucinous nonneop-lastic cyst. The exact aetiology of these cysts at the aforementioned sites is still unclear.
