Presented with isolated sternal fracture primary hyperparathyroidism case

Primary hyperparathyroidism is a common disorder characterized by hypercalcemia as a result of parathormon oversecretion. its frequency over 65 years is 1/1000 and is 2 to 3 times more common in females. More than 80% of the patients are asymptomatic and are usually diagnosed with incidentally detected high serum calcium levels. Most of the symptomatic patients present with fatigue, weakness and exhaustion and with overt bone disease, fractures or nephrolithiasis. We presented applied isolated sternal fracture with primary hyperparathyroidism case.
