Lipomlar en sık görülen benign tümörlerdendir fakat oral kavitede oldukça nadir olarak bildirilmişlerdir. Bu vaka sunumunda konuşma ve yutma fonksiyonunu bozan dev bir intraoral lipom bildirilmektedir. Oral kavite lipomla-rının klinik ve histopatolojik özellikleri, tedavi yaklaşı-mıyla literatür bilgileri eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.

A rare benign tumor of the oral cavity: Giant lingual lipoma

Lipomas are among the most common benign tumors, but they occur infrequently in the oral cavity. We present a case of an enormous intraoral lipoma that seriously interferes with the speech and swallowing function. Clinical and histopathological features of oral cavity lipomas are discussed with a literature review.
