Optik sinir gliomlu bir olgu

Optik gliomlar, santral sinir sisteminde glial dokudan gelişen benign karakterde pilositik astrositomlardır. Semptom ve bulgular tümörün lokalizasyonuna göre değişmektedir. Bu olgu daha önce optik sinir gliomu tanısı alan ve tedavisiz takip edilen hastanın uzun dönem takip sonundaki durumunu göstermek ve tek taraflı görme kaybı ve proptozisle başvuran çocuk ve gençlerde optik sinir gliomu tanısını mutlaka akılda tutmak gerek-tiğini vurgulamak için sunuldu.

A case with optic glioma

Optic gliomas which are derived from glial tissue of the central nervous system are benign pilocytic astrocytomas. Symptoms and signs change according to location of the tumor. In this report, our aim is to present a patient with optic glioma, who is followed up without treatment and to emphasize to think optic glioma in children and teenagers who come us with unilateral visual loss and propitosis.
