Avrupa Dekoratif Sanatlarındaki Chinoiserie Etkisinin Tekstil Baskıcılığındaki Yansımaları

Avrupa’nın Doğu ile ticaretinin oldukça eskilere dayanan bir geçmişi bulunmaktadır. Bu ticaret, sadece ekonomikboyutta kalmamış, bilgiden tekniğe her türlü kazanımların da paylaşılmasıyla kültürel alış veriş şeklinde gelişmiştir.Doğu, sürekli olarak Avrupa için gizemli, keşfedilmesi gereken büyülü bir ortam olmuştur. Bu düşsel ülkelerleilgili yaratılan düşünceler ve oradan getirilen malların ihtişamı zaman zaman Avrupa dekoratif sanatlarını etkilemişve sanat tarihinde chinoiserie denilen, mobilyadan, duvar kâğıdına, seramikten tekstile kadar uzanan değişik ürüngruplarında etkisi görülen bir modanın gelişmesini sağlamıştır.
