Muhittin Baha Bey, Bursa'da doğmuştur. Muhittin (Muhiddin) Baha Pars, Milli Mücadele ve TBMM’nin ilk devresinin önemli şahsiyetlerindendir. Muhittin Baha Pars, aynı zamanda gazeteci, hukukçu, cemiyetçi ve milletvekili kişilikleriyle de tanınmaktadır. Muhittin Baha Bey çok yönlü bir karakterdir. Köklü bir aileye mensup olması, aile üyelerinin tanınırlığı, dönemin ileri gelenlerine yakınlığı, gençliğinden vefatına kadar, hep Milli Mücadele faaliyetlerinde olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Muhittin Baha Bey'i, ulaşabildiğimiz tüm kaynaklar ile akademik bir bakışla ele alarak, hem yakın dönem Türkiye tarihine tanıklık etmiş bir şahsiyetin gözüyle döneme bakmış olacağız hem de bu yakın dönem tarihimizde önemli bir yer eden Muhittin Baha Bey’i kapsamlı olarak tanıtmış olacağız. Osmanlı Devleti’nin son ve yeni Türk Devleti’nin inşa ve gelişim yıllarında birçok alanda önemli görevler almasına, faaliyetlerde bulunmasına rağmen hakkında yazılanlar oldukça sınırlıdır. Bu çalışmamız ile Muhittin Baha Pars’ın hayatına ışık tutmaya çalışacağız.

Muhittin Baha Bey was born in Bursa. Muhittin (Muhiddin) Baha Pars is one of the significant figures of the National Struggle and the first period of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Muhittin Baha Pars is also known for his journalistic, legal, social and parliamentary personality. Muhittin Baha Bey has a versatile character. Being a member of a very deep-rooted family, the recognition of his family members, his closeness to the notables of the period, he has always been in the activities of the National Struggle from his youth until his death. With this research, we will both look at the period through the eyes of a person who has witnessed the recent history of Turkey, by considering Muhittin Baha Bey with an academic point of view with all the sources we can reach, and comprehensively introduced Muhittin Baha Bey, who has an important place in our recent history. Despite the fact that the Ottoman Empire took important roles and activities in many areas during the construction and development years of the last and new Turkish State, the writings about it are quite limited. With this work, we will try to shed light on the life of Muhittin Baha Pars.
