Çin’ in Güney Doğu Asya’ da bölgesel işbirliğine açık hegemonya girişiminin temelleri

Soğuk Savaş Sonrası’nda Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’nin ekonomisinin bü- yümesi, Çin’in dünya ile etkileşimini artırmıştır. Çin’in ticari ilişkiler vasıtasıyla dünyaya açıldığı en önemli bölgelerden birisi Güneydoğu Asya bölgesidir. Bu bağlamda Güneydoğu Asya Uluslar Birliği, bölgenin ekonomik bütünleşmesine çok büyük katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu makale, Çin’in Güneydoğu Asya ülkeleri ile geliştirmiş olduğu ticari ilişkileri ele almaktadır. Çin’in Güneydoğu Asya’da bölgesel işbirliğine açık hege- monyasının temelleri üzerine yoğunlaşan makale, Çin’in bölge ülkeleri- ne yönelik dış yardım sisteminin ticari faaliyetlerle ne derece bütünleş- tiğini de analiz etmektedir. Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’nin Güneydoğu Asya ülkeleri ile ticari ilişkileri geliştirmesinde önemli iki kalem olan tekstil ve silah ticareti ele alınmış, Çin müteahhitlik firmalarının Güneydoğu Asya’daki varlığı incelenmiştir.

Foundations of china’s attempt for hegemony open to regional cooperation in the southeast Asia

After the Cold War, economic growth of People’s Republic of China has increased China’s interaction with the world. One of the most important regions China opens to the world through trade relations is the Southeast Asia. In this context, Association of Southeast Asian Nations has contributed to the economic integration of the region very largely. This article discusses commercial relations China has developed with the countries of the Southeast Asia. This article, which focuses on the foundations of Chinese hegemony open to regional cooperation on Southeast Asia, also analyzes how much China’s foreign aid system for the countries in the region is integrated into commercial activities. Textile and arms trade, which are two important items for China to develop trade relations with Southeast Asian countries, are discussed and the presence of China’s construction firms in Southeast Asia is examined.
