Aday öğretmenlerin Türkiye’deki aday öğretmenlik uygulamaları ile ilgili görüşleri

Bu araştırmada, aday öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre adaylık sürecinde yaşanan sorunların ve gereksinim duyulan eğitim alanlarının neler olduğunu belirlemek, aday öğretmen eğitimi uygulamalarını değerlendirmek ve aday öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerini destekleyecek bir aday öğretmen eğitim programı için öneriler geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 812 aday öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, aday öğretmenlerin göreve başlayacakları zaman çoğunlukla sorun yaşamayacaklarını düşündükleri, aday öğretmen yetiştirme süreci eğitimlerinde rol alan kişilerin görevlerini ve yetiştirme sürecinin amaçlarını uygun buldukları ancak adaylıklarının Eylül döneminden itibaren altı ay daha devam etmesini, dosya, günlük vb. dokümanların hazırlanması gibi uygulamaları uygun bulmadıkları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, aday öğretmen yetiştirme süreci eğitimlerinin görev yerinde yapılması, kullanılan belgelerin çevrimiçi ortamda hazırlanması, danışman öğretmen ve okul yöneticilerinin de değerlendirilmesi gibi bazı önerilerde bulunmuşlardır.

Novice teachers’ views on induction practices in Turkey

The aim of this study is to identify the opinions of the novice teachers aboutthe problems experienced during the induction process and the fields oftraining needed to overcome these problems so as to contribute to the theirprofessional development. This study was conducted with survey researchmodel and the study group consisted of 812 novice teachers. As a result ofthe research, it was determined that the novice teachers mostly thoughtthat they would not have problems. In addition, It was found out that theybelieved that individuals taking part in the education process of the noviceteacher training the tasks undertaken and the aims of the education processwere appropriate. They believed that there six months extention of theirnomination starting from September, having them prepare files should beabolished. In line with the results of study, It was proposed to conduct theprocess of novice teacher education in the place of duty, provide thedocuments online, and to evaluate the supervisor teachers and schooladministrators as well.
