OKUL PSİKOLOJİK DANIŞMA VE REHBERLİK HİZMETLERİNDE 1960-1980 YILLARI ARASINDAKİ KONSÜLTASYON ÇALIŞMALARININ GÖRÜNÜMÜ: BİR METASENTEZ ÇALIŞMASI

Bu çalışmanın amacı, okullardaki rehberlik hizmetlerinin önemli bir parçası olan konsültasyon ile ilgili çalışmaları metasentez yöntemi ile analiz etmek ve konunun bir fotoğrafını sunmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, konsültasyon hizmetlerinin ilk belirginleşmeye başladığı 1960-1980 yılları arasında yazılmış 31 makale amaçlı örnekleme yolu ile belirlenerek analiz edilmiştir. Makalelerin seçiminde, Dergi Park, Google Akademik arama motoru ve EBSCOhost-ERIC veri tabanlarından yararlanılmıştır. İncelenen çalışmadan elde edilen veriler, meta sentez araştırma yönteminin içerdiği aşamalar çerçevesinde temalandırılmıştır. İncelenen çalışmalar; amaçlar, örneklem grubu, kullanılan yöntem, veri toplama aracı ve araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmalarda kullanılan yöntem çerçevesinde üç tema olarak incelenmesine araştırmacılar tarafından karar verilmiştir. Ardından 20 alt tema elde edilmiştir. İncelenen çalışmaların çoğunlukla tarama yöntemi ve deneysel yöntemle ve en az meta sentez yöntemiyle gerçekleştirildiği görülmüştür. Elde edilen veriler okul konsültasyon hizmetlerinin 1960-1980 yılları arasındaki görünümünü ortaya koyar niteliktedir.

THE APPEARANCE OF THE CONSULTATION STUDIES IN THE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE SERVICES BETWEEN 1960-1980: A METASYNTHESIS STUDY

The aim of this study is to analyze consultation studies, which is an important part of the guidance services in schools, by metasynthesis method and to provide a general framework. In accordance with this purpose, 31 articles which were written between the years of 1960-1980 and chosen through purposeful sampling method were analysed. Dergi Park, Google Scholar search engine and EBSCOhost-ERIC databases were used in the selection of the articles. The data obtained in the study were evaluated in terms of objectives related to consultation services in schools, sample group, method used, data collection tool and results obtained in the research. First of all, these studies were examined under 3 themes according to research methods and 20 sub-themes were obtained. It was determinated that the studies examined were mostly carried out by survey method and experimental method; and the least used method was meta synthesis. It has been determined that the consultation is an important part of the guidance services, and the training and competencies of psychological counselors have a decisive role in the effectiveness of this process.
