Bu araştırma, Bursa ili Kırmızı Kahverengi Akdeniz büyük toprak grubu topraklarının verimlilik durumunu belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bu amaçla araştırma alanını temsil edebilecek şekilde 25 adet toprak örneği alınmış ve bu örneklerin bazı fiziksel ve kimyasal özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre topraklar genellikle orta ve ince bünyeli, nötr ve hafif alkalin pH'da, tuzluluk sorunu olmayan, kireç, organik madde, toplam N ve yarayışlı Fe yönünden yetersiz, değişebilir K, Ca, Mg ile yarayışlı P, Mn, Cu ve Zn yönünden yeterli düzeyde olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.

Determination of the fertility levels of the soils of red brown Mediterranean great soil group in Bursa provience

This research was carried out to determine the fertility levels of the soils of red brown mediterranean great soil group in Bursa province. Forthis purpose, 25 soil samples were taken from research area. Some physical and chemical properties were determined in these samples. According to the results of the study, the soils were mostly medium and fine textured; have a neutral and slightly alkaline pH; there was not any problem of salinity in soils. The calcium carbonate, .organic matter, total N and available Fe contents of the soils were inadequate. The exchangeable K, Ca, Mg and available P, Mn, Cu, Zn contents of the soils were aduquate.
