In this review, information is given about the specifications, place in taxinomication, growing conditions, presence in nature and host, virulans factors and pathogenesis, infection sources, progress and control of Plesiomonas shigelloides (P. shigelloides); which its relation with water based acute gastroenteritis epidemic is accepted in the last few years.
