In this study, rectal swab samples from 100 diarrheic calves and from 100 healthy calves were examined for the presence of Campylobacter spp (C.jejuni / C.coli). Campylobacter spp. were isolated from 21 of 100 diarr-heic calves and from 8 of 100 healthy calves. Of 29 strains isolated from diarrheic and healthy calves, 23 (79.31%) were identified as C.jejuni and 6 (20.68 %) as C.coli. The difference between diarrheic and healthy calves in the prevalence of Campylobacter spp was significant (p<0.01).
