Biyolojik silah olarak hemorajik fever virusları: Teşhis, tedavi ve kontrol

Hemorajik Fever Virus (HFV)'ları, zoonotik özellik taşıyıp insanlarda "Viral Hemorajik Fever Sendromu" na neden olurlar. Bu viruslar içinde arenaviruslar, bunyaviruslar, flaviviruslar ve filoviruslar yer almaktadır. HFV'ları, Rusya, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Kuzey Kore tarafından biyolojik silah olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu derlemede, biyolojik silah ajanı olarak kullanılan ve biyoterörizme hizmet edebilecek HFV'ları için çeşitli kamu, özel ve askeri kurum ve kuruluşlarca uygulanılan ve yeni geliştirilen teşhis, tedavi ve kontrol yöntemleri açıklanmış­tır.

Hemorrhagic fever viruses as biological weapons: Diagnosis, treatment and control

Viral Hemorrhagic Fever (VHF) viruses cause "Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Syndrome" as they had zoono­tic characteristic. These group of viruses cover arenaviruses, bunyaviruses, flaviviruses and filoviruses. VHF viruses were used as a biological weapon by the Russia, the United States of America and the North Korea. In this review, the method of diagnosis, treatment and control, which have been just developed by military and civil foundations, were explained for VHF prepared on the purpose of service for bioterrorism and as biological weapons agent.
