Akut ve kronik böbrek yetmezliğine sahip köpeklerde lipid profilinin değerlendirilmesi

İnsanlarda serum lipid ve lipoprotein konsantrasyonları böbrek yetmezliği ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada total kolesterol, trigliserid, HDL-C, LDL-C'yi kapsayan serum lipidleri ile böbrek yetmezlikleri (akut ve kronik renal yetmezlik) arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Evaluation of lipid in dogs with acute and chronic renal failure

Serum lipids and lipoprotein concentrations have been associated with renal failure in humans. The aim of this study was to investigate the link between serum lipids, including total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-C, LDL-C and renal failure (acute renal failure or chronic renal failure) in dogs. Levels of serum total cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL-C statistically significantly higher in dogs with chronic renal failure compared to healty dogs and dogs with acute renal failure (p<0.001). However, levels of serum HDL-C sig-nificantly was lower in dogs with chronic renal failure (CRF) than in dogs with acute renal failure and healty dogs (p<0.001). As a result, it was determined that relation was existed between serum lipids, including total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-C, LDL-C, and CRF in dogs.
