Hastanelerde sürekli performans iyileştirme sürecinin kalite maliyetlerine odaklanması ve bir ölçüm modeli önerisi

Kalite yönetimi felsefesi ve uygulamaları üretim sektöründe kendini göstermiş, uzun yıllar hizmet sektöründe bu yönde etkili ve sistematik bir çalışmaya rastlanmamıştır. Ancak son yıllarda dünyadaki ekonomik eğilimlerin değişmesi ve hizmet sektörünün ekonomiden aldığı payın her geçen gün artması, kaliteli üretim için uygulanan yöntemlerin hizmet sektörüne de uyarlanmasını kaçınılmaz kılmıştır. Bu noktadan hareketle bu çalışmada, hizmet sektöründe farklı dinamiklere sahip hastane organizasyonlarında kurumsal performans iyileştirmenin hangi süreçlerden ve noktalardan başlatılması gerektiğine yönelik kararlara veri sağlayacak bir sistem olarak kullanılabilecek kalite maliyetleri ele alınmakta ve kalite maliyetlerini ölçecek bir sistemin kuruluşuna dair bir model önerisinde bulunulmaktadır.

Even though quality management philosophy and its practices firstly appeared on manufacturing, there were no such effective and systematic studies in service sector for many years. However, recent changing economic trends in the world and day by day increasing share of services taking from economy make also possible to apply the methods used for quality production to the service sector. From this starting point, in this study, costs of quality have been analyzed as a system in order to provide knowledge for decision making processes at the hospital organizations. Also, a performance improvement model has been proposed for measuring costs of quality in this manner.
