CLINICAL STANDARDIZATION OF AUDITORY MIDDLE LATENCY RESPONSE

Auditory Middle Latency Response (AMLR) provides assessment of peripheral and central auditory system integrity, as well as auditory pathways up to the thalamo-cortical region and primary auditory cortex level.Aim: In Ömer Halisdemir University Training and Research Hospital Audiology clinic, it was aimed to obtain AMLR normative data in healthy individuals to be a reference in evaluating the results of patients in the future.Method: 10 female and 10 male individuals, aged 20-50 years, with normal hearing and no neurological or otological complaints were included in the study. AMLR test with 500 Hz tone burst stimulus at 70 dBnHL was applied to all individuals. Results: Mean wave latencies; 21.85 ms for the Na wave; 30.25 ms for the Pa wave; For the Nb wave, it was obtained as 38.97 ms.Conclusion: Normative data of our clinic were created for the Na, Pa and Nb latency parameters of AMLR.
