Satışların Maliyetinin Büyük ve Orta Boy İşletmeler için Finansal Raporlama Standardı ve Türkiye Muhasebe Standartları Açısından İncelenmesi Üzerine Bir Uygulama

Büyük ve Orta Boy İşletmelerin hazırladığı bilanço ve gelir tablolarının karşılaştırılabilir ve şeffaf olarak sunulması amacı ile 29 Temmuz 2017 tarihinde Büyük ve Orta Boy İşletmeler İçin Finansal Raporlama Standardı (BOBİ FRS). Kamu Gözetimi Muhasebe veDenetim Standartları Kurumu (KGK) tarafından, Resmi Gazetede yayınlanarak 2018 yılı itibari ile mevzuata dâhil edilmiştir. BOBİ FRS 27 maddeden oluşan bağımsız denetime tabi olan ancak finansal tablolarını Türkiye Finansal Raporlama Standartlarına (TFRS) göre düzenlemeyen işletmelerin uygulaması gereken kuralları içeren bir standarttır. BOBI FRS ve TMS/TFRS arasında benzerlikler olmasına rağmen farklılıklarda mevcuttur. Bu farklılıklardan biriside gelir tablosunun önemli bir kalemi olan satılan mamul maliyetinin hesaplanma şeklindedir. Satılan mamul maliyeti işletmelerin fiyat politikalarını, kar düzeylerini doğrudan etkilediği için işletmeler açısından önemli bir kalemdir. Satılan mamul maliyetinin hesaplanması sırasında BOBI FRS, normal maliyet veya tam maliyet yöntemini önerirken TMS-2 stoklar standardı ise normal maliyet yöntemini önermiştir. BOBI FRS’de iki yöntemin önerilmesi finansal tablolarını bu yöntemlerden biri ile hazırlayan işletmelerin farklı sonuçlar elde etmesine sebep olacaktır. Bu durum hem muhasebenin tutarlılık kavramı ile örtüşmemekte hem de finansal tablo kullanıcılarına farklı sonuçlar yansıtabilmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı gelir tablosu içerisinde önemli bir yere sahip olan satılan mamul maliyetlerinin TMS/TFRS ve BOBI FRS açısından inceleyerek özellikle dönüştürme maliyetleri açısından farklılıkları örnek olay yöntemi ile açıklamaktır.

An Application in Review of Financial Reporting Standards for Cost of Sales in Big and Medium Size Enterprises and Turkish Accounting Standards

TheFinancial Reporting Standard for Large and Medium Enterprises (SME FRS). Was published in the Official Gazette by the Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK) on July 29, 2017, in order to present the balance sheets and income statements prepared by large and medium-sized enterprises in a comparable and transparent manner. It has been included in the legislation by 2018. SME FRS includes standards consisting 27 articles for companies which are subject to independent audit the financial statements though financial statements of these companies were not prepared in accordance with Turkey Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS). Although there are similarities between SME FRS and TAS/TFRS, there are also differences. One of these differences is the calculation of the cost of the sold product, which is an important item of the income statement. The cost of products sold is an important item for businesses as it directly affects the price policies and profit levels of the enterprises. For the calculation of the cost of the sold product, SME FRS suggested the normal cost or full cost method, TMS-2 recommended the inventory standard and the normal cost method. The proposal of two methods in SME FRS will cause to occurrence of different resultsfor businesses who prepare their financial statements with one of these methods. This situation does not coincide with the concept of consistency of accounting and may show different results to users of financial statements. The purpose of the study is toexamine the cost of sold products, which have an important place in the income statement, in the frames of TAS/TFRS and SME FRS, and to explain the differences, especially in terms of conversion costs, with the case study method.
