Tatlı suya adapte edilmiş levrek (Dicentrarchus labrax)'lerde karaciğer antioksidan sistemler ve lipid peroksidasyonu

Düşük tuzluluğa (%o O) adapte olmuş levrek (Dicentrarchus labrax)'lerde karaciğer dokusunun antioksidan sistemlerindeki farklılıklar ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca oksidan stresin spesifik indikatörü olan Malondialdehit (MDA) düzeyleri de ölçülmüş ve araştırmada adaptasyonu sağlanmış grup (deney grubu) ile kontrol grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli farklılıklar bulunmuştur (P < 0,05). Deney grubu balık karaciğerlerinde histopatolojik bir takım hasarların oluştuğu ve karaciğer ağırlıkları ile hepato/somatik indekste anlamlı artışların varlığı saptanmıştır. Adaptasyonun etkisiyle karaciğer Superoksit Dismutaz (SOD), Glutatyon Peroksidaz (GPX), Glukoz-6-Fosfat-Dehidrogenaz (G6PDH) ve Malondialdehit (MDA) aktivitesi deney grubunda artış gösterirken, Redükte Glutatyon (GSH) seviyesi kontrol grubuna göre azalma göstermiştir. Malondialdehit (MDA)'te izlenen artışlar lipid peroksidasyonundaki en önemli indikatör olarak belirlenmiştir.

Liver antioxidant system and lipid peroxidation in sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) adapted to fresh water

Changes in the antioxidant systems of the liver tissues of sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) adapted to low salinity levels (O %o) were investigated. Malondialdehyde levels, as a specific indicator of oxidant stress, were determined. The results indicated highly significant differences among the test and control groups (P < 0.05). Some histopathological destruction, liver weight and hepatosomatic index values were determined at high levels and, moreover, Superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase (GPX), glucose-6phosphate-dehydrogenase and malondialdehyde activities increased, while reducted glutathione levels decreased in comparison with the control group. An increase in the malondialdehyde level was determined to be an indicator of lipid peroxidation.
