Pelvic splenosis

Splenozis cerrahi ya da travma sonrası dalak dokusunun ototransplantasyonudur. Abdominal splenozis yaygın formdur, ancak literatürde intratorasik, pelvik, subkutanöz ve intrakranial splenozis vakaları da tanımlanmıştır. Bu bildiride Teknesyum-99m sülfür kolloid (Tc-99m SC) görüntüleme ile gösterilen bir pelvik splenozis olgusunu sunuyoruz. Hasta, beş yıl önce trafik kazası sonrası splenektomi öyküsü olan 20 yaşında erkekti. Sintigrafik çalışmada mesanenin sağ üst kesiminde hafif artmış Tc-99m SC tutulumu mevcuttu. İntravenöz diüretik uygulamasıyla birlikte bir saat sonra elde edilen ek pelvik görüntüleme mesane komşuluğunda splenozis ile uyumlu homojen artmış radyofarmasötik tutulumunu ortaya çıkardı. Ektopik dalak dokusu pelvik ultrasonografi ile de ayrıca doğrulandı.

Pelvik splenozis

Splenosis is autotransplantation of splenic tissue that occurs after trauma or surgery. Abdominal splenosis is the common form, but there have also been intrathoracic, pelvic, subcutaneous or intracranial splenosis cases described in the literature. In this report, we present a pelvic splenosis case demonstrated with Technetium-99m sulfur colloid (Tc-99m SC) imaging. The patient was a 20-year-old male with a history of splenectomy after a traffic accident five years ago. In scintigraphic study, slightly increased Tc-99m SC uptake was present on the upper right side of bladder. Additional pelvic imaging acquired one hour later with intravenous diuretic administration revealed uniformly increased radiopharmaceutical uptake adjacent to bladder, confirming splenosis. The ectopic splenic tissue was also verified with pelvic ultrasound imaging.
