Türkçeye Uyarlanmış Temel Kabiliyetler Testi (TKT) 7-11'in Yapı Gerçerliği

Bu araştırmada, 2001 yılında Türkiye'de uyarlanarak kullanılmaya başlanılan TKT 7-11'in, öngörüldüğü gibi, yedi alt testi ile dil, şekil-uzay, akıl yürütme, ayırt etme ve sayısal yetenekleri ölçen beş boyuttan oluşup oluşmadığını belirlemeye çalışılmıştır. Birinci analizde anlamlı yapıya ulaşılamamıştır. Yapıyı bozan maddeler analizden çıkarılarak dört defa tekrarlanan faktör analizi ile toplam varyansın % 76.95'ini açıklayan dört anlamlı faktöre ulaşılmıştır. Bu anlamlı dört faktöre ilişkin yapıyı ölçen alt testler ve seçilmiş madde sayıları; (a) dil yeteneği; kelimeler alt testi 30 madde, resimler alt testi 15 madde ve kelime gruplaması alt testi 21 madde, (b) şekil-uzay yeteneği; yer kavramı alt testi 10 madde, (c) ayırt etme yeteneği; ayırt etme alt testi 15 madde ve (d) sayısal yetenek; hesap alt testi 31 madde olmak üzere toplam test 122 madde olarak belirlenmiştir. Belirtilen alt test puanlarına dayalı olarak dört özel yetenek puanının elde edilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Structure Validity of Primarily Mental Abilities (PMA s) Test 7-11, Which is Adapted into Turkish

In this research, it was aimed to determine whether PMAs test (7-11) adapted and used in Turkey in 2001 consisted of five dimensions measuring quantitative abilities, language, shape-space, deduction and discriminating and seven sub-tests as thought. In the first analysis no meaningful structure was found. In factor analysis, repeated four times, items corrupting the structure were taken out and four meaningful factors explaining % 76.95 of total variance were found. Subtests measuring the structure concerning these four meaningful factors and selected item numbers; (a) language ability; verbal sub-test 30 items, pictures sub-test 15 items and word grouping sub-test 21 items, (b) shape- space ability; space notion sub-test 10 items, (c) discriminating ability; discriminating sub-test 15 items, and (d) number ability; calculation sub-test 31 items and totally 122 test items were determined. Finally it was found that four special ability scores could be calculated, based on given sub-test scores.
