Yetişkin Bağlanma Ölçeklerinin Kategoriler ve Boyutlar Düzeyinde Karşılaştırılması

Bu çalışmada Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri'nin (YİYE) faktör yapısı incelenmiş ve yetişkin bağlanma stillerini ve boyutlarını ölçmede yaygın olarak kullanılan üç ölçek (İlişkiler Anketi, İA; İlişki Ölçekleri Anketi, 1ÖA ve YİYE) kullanılarak bağlanma ölçümlerinin yordama gücü kategori ve boyutlar temelinde karşılaştırılmıştır. Üniversite öğrencileri (N = 272) üç bağlanma ölçeği ve bağlanmayla kuramsal olarak ilişkili olan yedi karşılaştırma değişkeni ölçeğinden (benlik saygısı, benlik belirginliği, sürekli kaygı, ayrılık kaygısı, başkalarını memnun etme, onaylanmama kaygısı ve yalnızlıktan hoşlanma) oluşan anket bataryasını doldurmuşlardır. Bulgular YİYE kullanılarak bağlanma kaygısı ve kaçınma boyutlarının güvenilir olarak ölçüldüğünü göstermiştir. Kategoriler düzeyinde yapılan analizler bağlanma stilleri arasında karşılaştırma değişkenleri üzerinde gözlenen farklılıkların, genel olarak her üç ölçek için de Dört Kategori Modeli'ne uygun olduğunu göstermiştir. Diskriminant analizi sonuçlan YİYE'ye göre oluşturulan bağlanma kategorilerinin dörtlü modeli ve lÖA'dan daha belirgin olarak yansıttığını göstermiştir. Bağlanma boyutlarının ve ortak etkilerinin yordayıcı olarak kullanıldığı regresyon analizleri ise boyut düzeyindeki ölçümlerin kategori düzeyindeki ölçümlerden daha çok varyans açıkladığını ve yordama gücünün daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Bulgular geçmiş çalışmalar ışığında değerlendirilmiş ve araştırmacılara boyut düzeyinde ölçüm ve analizleri kullanmaları için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
