Çift-Kariyerli Ailelerde Bireylerin Yaşadıkları İş-Aile ve Aile-İş Çatışmalarının Kendini Kurgulama Davranışı ve Yaşam Olayları ile İlişkisi

Bu araştırmada çift-kariyerli ailelerde bireylerin yaşadıkları iş-aile ve aile-iş çatışmaları ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmada, kendini kurgulama davranışı, yaşam olayları ve demografik değişkenlerin de iş-aile ve aile-iş çatışmaları ile ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya profesyonel işlerde çalışan 157 çift-kariyerli aile yani toplam 314 kişi katılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, bireyler işlerinin ailelerini etkilemesini, ailelerinin işlerini etkilemesine göre daha fazla yaşamaktadırlar. Bunun yanı sıra, kadınlarda yaşın, işle ve diğer konularla ilgili yaşam olaylarının iş-aile çatışmalarını; çocuk sayısı ve yöneticilik görevinin ise aile-iş çatışmalarını anlamlı olarak yordadığı görülmüştür. Erkeklerde ise sadece işle ilgili yaşam olaylarının iş-aile çatışmasını anlamlı olarak yordadığı bulunmuştur. Kendini kurgulama davranışı ile iş-aile ve aile-iş çatışmaları ilişkisine yönelik yapılan analizler sonucunda ise, sadece erkeklerin kendini kurgulama düzeyleri ile iş hayatlarının aile hayatlarını etkileme düzeyleri arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.
