Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Alkol Kullanımını Yordayan Koruyucu Etkenlerin Bağlamsal Kuram Üzerinden Araştırılması

Bu araştırmada, Boszormenyi-Nagy ve Krasner’ın (1986) Bağlamsal Kuramı’ndan hareketle, gençlerde alkol kul-lanımı sıklığı ile ilişkisel etik, empati ve stresle başa çıkma becerileri ve gönüllülük arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında İstanbul’da üniversite öğrenimi gören 220 katılımcıya internet üzerinden anket uygulan-mıştır. Araştırma bulguları, gönüllü olarak sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde yer alan, stresle başa çıkma ve empati becerileri yüksek olan gençlerin, diğerlerine göre alkol kullanım sıklığı daha düşük olduğunu göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte, aile içi rollerin, sadakat ve eşitlik duygularının alkol kullanımı açısından koruyucu etkenler olduğu belir-lenmiştir. Söz konusu bulgular, erken yetişkinlik dönemindeki gençlere yönelik alkolün kötüye kullanımını önleme projelerinde, gencin kök ailesindeki ilişki örüntüleri ile gencin sosyal projelere katılımının beraber düşünülmesi gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır.
