İKİ TARAFLI DOĞUMSAL NOSTRİL DARLIĞININ ONARIMINDA İKİ TARAFLI HELİKAL RİM SERBEST FLEBİ

Burun yüzün en çıkıntı yapısı olması dolayısıyla estetik açıdan büyük öneme sahiptir. Cilt, kıkırdak, kemik ve mukoza yapılarından oluşan karmaşık bir yapıdadır. Bu farklı bileşenlerden dolayı rekonstrüksiyonu zorlu bir süreçtir. Tam kat nazal defektlerin onarımında bir çok greft ve flep seçeneği bulunmasına rağmen istenilen sonucu elde etmek kolay değildir. Bizde olgumuzda iki taraflı doğumsal nostril darlığının onarımında iki taraflı helikal rim serbest flebinin kullanılabileceğini anımsatmayı amaçladık.

BILATERAL HELICAL RIM FREE FLAPS IN RECONSTRUCTION OF BILATERAL CONGENITAL NOSTRIL STENOSIS

The nose is the most prominent part of the face and has a great aesthetic impact on the facial expression importance. Due to its three dimensional structure the reconstruction of the nose remains a challenging issue in the microsurgery era. Many methods have been described for full thickness nasal defect yet. Texture similarity, color matching and donor site morbidity persists as a common problem raleted to theim. The congenital nostril stenosis is a rare condition and seldom techniques have been reported in the literature. In this case report we present the first use of a bilateral free composite helical rim flaps utilized in reconstructing the interior of the nostrils for correcting the stenosis.
