Rusçuk'ta bulunan Bektaşî tekkeleri arasında Tay Hızır Ali Baba ve Horasanı Ali Baba Tekkeleri de yer almaktadır. Kırsal kesimde kurulan bütün Bektaşî tekkelerinde olduğu gibi bu tekkeler de birer çiftlik durumundaydı. Zira tekkeler sahip oldukları tarla, bağ, bahçe, çayır, koru, mera, değirmen ve kovanları ile başta büyükbaş ve küçükbaş hayvan yetiştiriciliği olmak üzere hububat üretimi, sebze-meyveçilik, bağcılık, arıcılık vs. gibi faaliyetlerde bulunmuştur. Bu şekilde tekkeler hem kendi ihtiyaçlarını karşılamış hem de elde edilen ürünlerin satışı yoluyla gelir elde etmiştir. 1826 yılı, Bektaşî tarikatı ve tekkeleri için bir dönüm noktası olmuştur. Bu tarihte Yeniçeri Ocağı kaldırılmış ve ocak-tarikat arasındaki bağlantı sebebiyle Bektaşî tekkeleri de lağvedilmiştir. Alınan kararlar gereğince diğer Bektaşî tekkelerinde olduğu gibi adı geçen tekkelerin de malları müsadere edilmiş ve tekke binaları yıktırılmıştır. Tekkelerin gayrimenkulleri ise hazinenin menfaatleri dikkate alınarak iltizam ve satış yoluyla değerlendirilmiş ve gelirleri Mukataat Hazinesi'ne teslim edilmiştir..

The Tay Hızır Ali Baha and Horasanı Ali Baha dervish lodges are two of Bektashi dervish lodges of Ruse. As it was the case for all the Bektashi dervish lodges founded in the countryside, these lodges had also the outlook of a farm since in the lands under their ownerships, such as farms, vineyards, orchards, pastures and groves and in the mills and beehives they were engaged in beekeeping, husbandry, viniculture, grain agriculture and vegetable, and fruit growing. In this way the orders managed to meet their own needs on the one hand, and obtained revenues through the sale of the products they produced, on the other hand. The year 1826 became a turning point for the Bektashi order and the lodges. In that year the Yeniçeri corps were abolished and the lodges of the order, in order to eradicate the relation between the corps and the order, were closed down. In comply with the stipulations ofthe new regulation, the assets ofthe lodges were confiscated and their buildings were pulled down, which was also true for all other bektashi dervish lodges. As to the immovables ofthe lodges, they were either sold or farmed out and the revenues obtained accrued the mukataat treasury, a measure stipulated by the state interests.
