İki taraflı akciğer hacim küçültücü cerrahiden beş yıl sonrası: olgu sunumu

Bu yazıda amfizem tanısı ile iki taraflı torakoskopik akciğer hacim küçültücü cerrahi yapılan 57 yaşındaki bir erkek olgunun beş yıllık takibi sunuldu. Ameliyattan önceki altı ay içinde solunum sıkıntısı nedeniyle üç kez hastaneye yatırılan olgu, ameliyattan sonra ilk olarak 4. yılında yeniden hastaneye yatırılması gerekti. Olgunun solunum kapasiteleri ilk bir yıl sonuna kadar yükseldi ve 5. yılda ise tekrar ameliyat öncesi değerlere düştü. Olgu ameliyatın 6. yılında pnömoni nedeni ile kaybedildi.

Five year after bilateral lung volume reduction surgery: a case report

This paper presents the five-year follow-up of a 57-year-old male patient who underwent bilateral thoracoscopic lung volume reduction surgery with the diagnosis of emphysema. The patient had been hospitalized three times due to dyspnea during the six months before the operation and after the operation, he required hospitalization for the first time in the postoperative 4th year. R espiratory c apacities o f t he patient increased until the end of the first year and than fell to the preoperative values in the fifth year. The patient died due to pneumonia in the postoperative 6th year.
