Askerlerde Cinsel Yolla Bulaşan Enfeksiyonlar ve Korunma

Cinsel yolla bulaşan enfeksiyon (CYBE)'lar bütün dünyada yaygın olarak görülen ve sıklığı giderek artan önlenebilir ciddi mortalite ve morbiditeye sahip hastalıklardır. cinsel aktivitenin en yoğun olduğu 15-35 yaş grubunda saptanırlar. Askeri popülasyon, cinsel aktivasyonun en ileri safhada olduğu genç erişkin gruptur. Birçok ülkede bu yaş dönemindeki erkekler 1-2 yıl süreyle askere alınmakta, evli olanlar uzun süre eşlerinden ayrı kalmakta, evli olmayanlar da evliliklerini ertelemek zorunda kalmaktalar dır. Bu durumun doğal bir sonucu olarak, CYBE açısından risk artışı olabilmektedir.

Sexually Transmitted Infections and Protection in Soldiers

Sexually transmitted infections (STI) are common and the prevalence is increasing all over the world. These diseases have a significant mortality and morbidity can be prevented. These diseases are seen in the age group of 15-35 is more intense sexual activity. Military population, the most advanced stage of sexual activation in the young adult group. In many countries, men in this age period have been recruited for a period of 1-2 years; the wives of married people separate staying for a long time, those that are not married are obliged to postpone their marriage. As a natural consequence of this circumstances, may increase the risk of STI.
