Hastalığın yarattığı yeni duruma hastalar farklı tepkiler gösterir ve hastaların gösterdikleri tepkilere bağlı olarak sağlık personelinin algısı değişir. Bu araştırma sağlık alanının önemli bir çalışanı olan hemşirelerin hastalarda problem olarak gördükleri alanları belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda iletişim ve etkileşim sorunlarının hemşireler tarafından en önemli sorun alanı olarak görüldüğü belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca hemşirelerin sosyo demografik özellikleri ile iş yaşamına ilişkin özelliklerinin sorun algılarını değiştirdiği belirlenmiştir.

Patients give different responses to each of the new conditions that are the results of the illness, and the perceptions of the health personnel changes in relation to these patient responses. This study aims to  determine the patients' problem areas from the view point of the nurses. Research results indicate that communication and interaction problems are the most important problem areas according to the nurses. In addition, however, the nurses' socio­demographic  characteristics and characteristics in relation to the working life have different  effects on problem perception.
