FOLİKÜLER MÜSİNÖZ: OLGU SUNUMU

Foliküler müsinozis (FM) folikül epitelinde ve sebaseglandlarda müsin adacıklarının gözlendiği bir durumdur. Müsin birikiminin gözlendiği mikozis fungoidesile histopatolojik olarak ayrımı çok zordur. Çocuklukçağında görülen FM olgularının çoğunda spontan regresyon görülse de Hodgkin Lenfoma ile ilişkili olduğuna dair yayınlar bulunmaktadır. Bizde bu makaledeçocukluk çağında nadir olarak rastlanan FM olgusunusunmayı amaçladık.

FOLLICULAR MUCINOSIS: CASE REPORT

Follicular mucinosis (FM) is a condition characterized by the presence of mucin islets in the follicular epithelium and sebaceous glands. Histopathologically it is very difficult to distinguish this lesion from mycosisfungoides with mucin accumulation. Although there are spontaneous regressions in the majority of FM casesseen in childhood, there are reports, which state that it is associated with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. We aimed to present a FM case which is rarely seen in childhood.
