Bu araştırma, Yelköprü mağarası ve civarının sucul faunasının tespiti amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, toplam 12 takson tespit edilmiş olup, bunlardan 2'si Chordata, 2'si Mollusca ve 8'i de Arthropoda'ya dahildir. Tespit edilen taksonlarm tümü verilen lokaliteden ilk kez rapor edilmektedir; bunlardan, Thienemanniella xena, Orthocladius obumbratus ve Eusimulium angustitarse türleri Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıttır.
This study was carried out in order to determine the aquatic fauna of Yelköprü cave. As a result of the study, totaly 12 taxa were determined. 2 of them belong to Chordata, 2 to Mollusca and 8 to Arthropoda. All the taxa determined were firstly reported for this locality; among them, Thienemanniella xena, Orthocladius obumbratus and Eusimulium angustitarse are new for Turkish fauna.
