Tatlısu balık kültüründe uygulanan bazı biyoteknolojik yöntemler

Hormonal uygulamalar yoluyla cinsiyet oranlarının kontrolü, triploidi ve tetraploidi gibi poliploidi uyarımı ve ginogenez ve androgenez gibi uniparental kromozom kalıtımı için kromozom takımı manipulasyonlan ve gen transferi manipulasyonlan, balıklan kültüründe çoğunlukla tatlı su balıklan üzerinde olmak üzere birçok balık türü üzerinde bütün dünyada uygulanmaktadır. Bu teknikler, cinsiyet kontrolü, gonadal sterilizasyon, klonlama ve kromozom parça transferi için hızlı bir yaklaşım sağlayan, ürün verimliliğini arttırıcı önemli yöntemlerdir.

Applications of some biotecnological tolls in fish culture

Control of sex ratio by hormonal manipulations, chromosome set manipulation techniques to induce polyploidy such as triploidy and tetraploidy, and uniparental chromosome inheritance like gynogenesis and androgenesis, and gene transfers have been applied on many fish species generally in cultured freshwater fish. These techniques are important in the improvement of fish breeding as they provide a rapid approach for gonadal sterilization, sex control, donation and chromosome fragment transfer.
