Dem Limanında (Çandarlı Körfezi, Ege Denizi) fitoplankton populasyon dinamiği üzerine araştırmalar

Bu çalışmada, Dem Limanında (Çandarlı Körfezi) balık üretme çiftliklerinin atık sularını bıraktıkları bölge yakınındaki iki istasyonda su kalitesi parametreleri ile fitoplankton topluluklarının yıl boyunca değişiminin incelenmesi amaçlandı.Bu bölgede ilk defa yapılan araştırmada seçilen istasyonlarda kuluçkahaneye giren ve çıkan deniz suyunda yaklaşık 15 günlük aralıklarla bir yıl boyunca (Aralık, 1994-1995) su örnekleri alındı. Su kalitesini belirlemek amacıyla nutrientler nitrat, nitrit, amonyum, silikat, fosfat ve diğer fiziko-kimyasal parametreler Chla, P.O.C. Feopigment, pH, sıcaklık, tuzluluk ve ışık şiddeti ölçüldü.Nutrient konsantrasyonları düşük olarak saptandı.Bu parametrelerin fitoplankton populasyon dinamiği üzerine etkileri belirlenmeye çalışıldı.

The studies on phytoplankton population dynamics at Dem Harbour (Çandarlı Bay, Aegean Sea)

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the yearly changes in the water quality parameters and phytoplankton groups at two stations at Dem Harbour (Çandarlı Bay) near to places where fish farms discharge their waste waters. In this research which is the first study realised in this region, water samples were collected from the inputs and outputs of fish farms located in the selected stations at around 15 days time intervals during 1 year, between December 1994 and 1995. In order to determine the water quality, nutrients; nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, silicate, phosphate and other physico-chemical parameters such as, Chla, P.O.C., Phaeopigments, temperature, pH and salinity are measured. Concentrations of nutrients were low and their effects on the phytoplankton dynamics are studied.
