Şehir Rekabetçiliğinin Ölçümü: Literatür İncelemesi

Bu çalışmanın Amacı; Şehir rekabetçiliğinin ölçülmesinde kullanılan yöntemi, teknik, bakış açısını ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla öncelikle şehir rekabetçiliği ile ilgili kavramsal çerçeve özetlenmiştir. Ardından şehir rekabetçiliğinin ölçümü ile ilgili genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Daha sonra şehir rekabetçiliğinin ölçüldüğü çalışmalar yerli ve yabancı literatür olarak anlatılmıştır. Literatür incelendiğinde şehir rekabetçiliği kavramının yabancı literatürde san birkaç on yıldır işlendiği görülürken Türkiye’de öncü çalışmalar bile 10 yılı geçmemektedir. Sonrasında şehir rekabetçiliğinin ölçülmesinde karşılaşılan sıkıntılar anlatılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda da çalışmalarda kullanılan endeksler ve bu endeksleri oluşturan göstergeler hakkında ve analizde kullanılan yöntemler hakkında bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır

Measurement of City Competitiveness: Literature Review

The aim of this study is to put forth the method, technique and general Outlook used in measuring city competitiveness. So, conceptual framework about the city competitiveness was summarized firstly. Then, preliminary information about the measurement of the city competitiveness was given. Lastly, domestic and foreign literature review about the measuring of the city competitiveness was told. Measuring city competitiveness was studied last few decades in foreign literature but pioneering studies about this subject in Turkey doesn’t exceed ten years. Following this, the problems encountered in measuring the city competitiveness were described. At the end of the study, an assessment was made about the indices used in the studies, the indicators formed the indices and the methods used in analysis
