ANNE E?YTYM DÜZEYYNE GÖRE ÇOCUKLARIN CYNSYYET KALIPYARGILARI YLE OYUN VE OYUNCAK TERCYHLERY

Bu ara?tyrmanyn amacy; 7–8 ya? çocuklaryn cinsiyet kalypyargylary ile anne e?itim düzeyi ve çocuklaryn oynadyklary oyun ve oyuncaklar arasyndaki ili?kiyi saptamaktyr. Bu amaç do?rultusunda; çocuklaryn cinsiyetlerine ili?kin kalypyargylary belirlemek için "Cinsiyet Kalypyargy Ölçe?i" ve annelerin çocuklarynyn oyun ve oyuncak tercihleriyle ilgili dü?üncelerini ö?renmek için de ara?tyrmacylar tarafyndan hazyrlanan bir anket formu kullanylmy?tyr. Cinsiyet kalypyargy düzeyi ile anne e?itim düzeyi arasyndaki ili?kinin belirlenmesi için Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi kullanylmy? ve gruplar arasynda anlamlyly?yn hangi gruptan kaynaklandy?yny belirlemek için Tukeys-HSD testi kullanylmy?tyr. Annelerin çocuklarynyn oyun ve oyuncaklary hakkyndaki görü?leri ise frekans ve yüzdeler halinde tablolarda verilmeye çaly?ylmy? ve elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmy?tyr. Ara?tyrma sonucuna göre; çocuklardaki cinsiyet özelliklerine ili?kin kalypyargylar, annenin e?itim düzeyinin yükselmesi ile birlikte arty? göstermi?tir. Bununla birlikte; erkek çocuklaryn kyz çocuklara göre daha kalypyargysal olduklary belirlenmi?tir. Ayryca anne e?itim düzeylerinin çocuklarynyn öncelikli olarak tercih ettikleri oyuncak seçimlerini etkilemedi?i görülmü?tür. Çocuklaryn cinsiyetlerinin, kendilerinin tercih ettikleri oyuncaklary seçerken etkili oldu?u belirlenmi?tir. Kyz çocuklary bebek ve mutfa?a ili?kin oyuncaklary seçerken, erkek çocuklaryn ise araba, kamyon, tabanca gibi oyuncaklary tercih etti?i görülmü?tür.

PLAY AND TOYS PLAYED BY CHILDREN ACCORDING TO MOTHER'S EDUCATIONAL LEVEL WITH SEX ROLE STEREOTYPES

The aim of the study was to determine the relation between the sex role stereotypes with the mother's educational level and play and toys preferences of children of 7-8 years old. At this aim, 'Sex Role Stereotypes Measure II' was used to determine sex stereotypes of children and a questionnaire was used to determine mother's opinions about their children's toy and game preferences. The statistical data of between sex role stereotypes of children and the mother's educational level was processed by methods of One Way Analysis of Variance and Tukeys-HSD was also used to find which group was more significant. The mothers' opinions about their children's toys and play preferences were indicated by using percentages (%) and frequencies (f) with tables. The result of the study; it was determined that sex role stereotypes of the children increased if there was more of a mother's educational level. In addition, it was determined that the male students were found to be more sex-stereotypical than female students. Also, it was seen that the mother's educational level didn't influence their children's play and toy preferences. Although the children's gender affected their toy preferences. It was seen that while the girls preferred dolls, food and utensils which are traditionally seen feminine toys, the boys preferred cars, guns and trucks etc. which are traditionally seen as masculine toys.
